Stay at Little Basin Villas This Off-Season

Keys blog as written by Capt Scott Goodwin

Recent visitors to the Little Basin Villas had an amazing pre-Thanksgiving trip for a little taste of the tropics in the Fall.  Keeping their ’23 Albury right out back on the community dock makes a quick trip to the Keys a simple endeavor.

Little Basin Villas provide all the amenities for a quick trip or a longer stay.  The choice is yours.  Lobsters were still around on the nearby reefs and the season lasts until March 31st so avoid the summer craziness and grab a couple later in the season.

Tarpon fishing, though winding down, was still an option and our guests caught and released a few silver kings as they are nick-named.

The aerial display and bulldog attitude of tarpon draw people to the Keys from far and wide. Islamorada is call “The sport fishing capital of the world.” In addition to incredible fishing, Islamorada offers many great restaurants, gift shops and things to do for the entire family. Home to Bud n Mary’s Marina, World Wide Sportsman and the famous Robbie’s Hungry Tarpon.

Perched right on the Gulf and just a short ride to the ocean, Little Basin Villas is the perfect launchpad for your next adventure.
